Is the body real cement?
It is a cement look composite, cast rather than moulded from plastic and finished with a terrazzo speckle running through the surface. It has the weight and texture of cast concrete but is engineered to stay stable outdoors, where solid cement would eventually crack with moisture and temperature swings.
Will the speckled finish fade in the sun?
No. The finish is chosen to hold its colour and texture through years of sun and rain rather than chalking or fading after one summer. Small variations between individual units are normal for a cast composite and read as character once it is on the wall.
Does it come with a globe?
Yes. The LED light source is included and ships ready to wire in, so there is no separate globe to source or match before your electrician arrives.
Can it go on an exposed wall?
Yes. The housing is water repellent with fully sealed electrics, built for permanent outdoor duty through sustained rain and humidity rather than the occasional shower. It suits terraces, courtyards, villa exteriors and garden fence walls.
How do I keep it looking good?
Wipe it down with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners and pressure washing, which can dull the textured surface over time.
