What is it designed for?
A door pillar or a balcony edge specifically. At around 45cm high with an 18cm projection it is scaled for an enclosed courtyard rather than a wide open frontage.
What globe does it take?
A standard E27, dimmable with a compatible globe and dimmer switch, so you can soften it for evening use on a terrace.
Pairs or a run?
Both work. A pair either side of an entrance is the classic arrangement, and evenly spaced units along a terrace edge suit warm evenings outdoors.
Is the detail worth seeing up close?
Yes. The cast detail in the arm and base only really registers once it is mounted beside an actual pillar or doorway, which is where it is meant to be looked at.
How do I care for it?
Wipe with a soft dry cloth and keep harsh chemical cleaners off the cast aluminium finish.
